Testing: Getting tested is easy!
To get tested for Sexual Transmitted Infections all that is required is a urine and/or blood sample. For an Rapid HIV test, all that is required is an oral swab to get your result in 20 minutes.
When you arrive at the clinic, tell the front desk that you have an appointment with the SAFE Teen Health Clinic. They will direct you to the private “teen only” waiting room. Typically your appointment will happen in this order:
1.Registration
2.Check-in with SAFE Health Educator
3. Vitals (heart rate, blood pressure, height and weight)
4.Meet with doctor
5. Check-out with SAFE Health Educator
